"As a Computer Science major, I feel challenged everyday, and I'm enjoying the program. I'm very excited to see what's ahead."

"Academics at Stevens are definitely challenging, but you learn a lot in a very little amount of time as opposed to high school. No big complaints from me."

Sam:

"School here is a grind, as others have said. Prospective students should expect a big adjustment and some pretty messed up sleep schedules, but it will balance out."

Mark:

"Stevens has a way of jumping right into things. A lot of my friends have much easier adjustments to school because they're taking 3 humaniities classes in the first semester. At Stevens, I'm taking almost all STEM-related classes, but I really like it so far."

"I started to look at Stevens because of the Track and Field team, and I have no complaints about it. The other athletes are really dedicated, and Coach Wood has been great. I am also a part of some clubs and I am enjoying them too. "

Anthony:

"I am a part of the Cross Country and Track teams, and have been injured but haven't felt left out. I was afraid I might be but the coaches and older athletes have helped me maintain my confidence that I will come back strong."

Sam:

"I am in 5 different clubs and enjoy them a lot. Much more than class!"

Mark:

"I can't say I'm in any clubs, I haven't really looked into any, but my roommate is in a few and I might look into them when I get the chance."

"Being right next to New York City is definitely a plus, and I've had some fun there so far, but the fact that Stevens is so close isn't that important to me. All of my other schools I looked at were less than an hour away, which is very doable and doesn't matter to me."

Anthony:

"Everyone talks about NYC but I really like Hoboken. It is a really cool place and I like it even more than NYC in many respects. It is a city that feels like home and I really like that about."

Sam:

"The location of this school is great. It's very aesthetically pleasing and is very practical for many other things such as finding jobs and interships."

Mark:

"I strongly value being close to New York and also close to home. I want to get an intership in New York as soon as possible and being so close is great."
